Screen printer Ambrose leaves Holland
Ambrose, the screen printing shop that has worked with Tulip Time on its T-shirt contest and whose owner helped develop the city of Holland’s new logo, is leaving Holland.
Ambrose started in 2008 as an after school program mentoring teens. It grew into what founder Adam Weiler called a “fully fledged community design and print lab.” In 2009, Ambrose started printing with the teens and, in 2010, it started printing guest art-designed apparel, he said.
"The students, volunteers and community have been so supportive of this experiment,” Weiler said.
Ambrose will be acquired next month by the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology located in Grand Rapids. Weiler will join WMCAT’s team as director of social enterprise. Ambrose and its programs will still exist, but will be located in WMCAT’s downtown Grand Rapids facility.
Ambrose will become WMCAT’s first social enterprise project, Weiler wrote when he announced the change to supporters. Ambrose will provide the same Screen printer services to the public while offering employment and professional development to urban teens and alumni from WMCAT’s Teen Arts and Tech Program.
“Last year we started talking with the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology about the role design, leadership and commerce play in developing better opportunities for teens,” Weiler wrote. I’ve long looked up to WMCAT’s mission of providing a culture of opportunity for people to make social and economic progress in their lives and community. After a few months of discussions, we agreed that we could do more together than we could apart.”
"We wrestled with the decision for a really long time," Weiler said in an interview with The Sentinel. "It came down to impact; we could do more together than we could apart. It's a little dream come true. ... It fits like a glove."
Weiler is fond of Holland and said the decision was bittersweet. Ambrose helped Tulip Time start the annual T-shirt contest three years ago and helped city of Holland officials develop the city’s new logo.
"I never thought I'd love Holland this much," said Weiler, an Iowa native who was introduced to the area, and his Detroit-native wife, while working at Camp Geneva. The best parts of Holland, Eighth Street, the beach and the caring community lured him in.
"I think we had a really positive impact."
Tulip Time Marketing Coordinator Susan Zalnis said the festival hopes to keep the T-shirt contest going and is talking with other Pad printer in hopes of having a contract in place soon, but the personal Pad printer that Ambrose did likely won’t be available.
留學生弒母案 律師:無罪辯護
台灣留學生陳兆明勒死母親一案,陳兆明的委任律師鄧洪表示,由於陳兆明有精神方面疾病,未來將朝無罪辯護的方向努力。
22歲的陳兆明(Chen Chao Ming,前譯陳超明)1日晚間在洛杉磯市區的公寓,因故與從台灣來訪的母親爭吵,出手勒死母親;目前陳兆明已被洛杉磯警方收押,預定25日開庭。
陳兆明的父親陳仁委託鄧洪律師事務所擔任律師,鄧洪在接受中央社記者訪問時指出,洛杉磯郡每年都有1/4的案件與精神疾病有關,在留學生與新移民的族群中,比例更高;尤其華人大多數不是不願接受事實,不然就是家長不希望孩子被另眼相待,狀況好轉就停藥,因此情況也不少見。
鄧洪指出,在陳兆明的這個案子中,比較特別的是陳兆明的母親也是精神分裂症患者,但因為陳兆明本身的精神問題,在事發時可能分不清對與錯,因此他將朝著無罪辯護的方向努力。
鄧洪律師事務所也表示,由於精神病患的案件需要經過醫師的診斷,目前正在著手準備相關資料,同時陳兆明原本被收押在中央監獄,也因為他的精神病例,可能需要醫護人員的照顧,因此已要求轉到有醫護進駐的雙子塔監獄。
陳仁希望能讓陳兆明盡快返台治療,不過鄧洪認為,一般案件快則一年,慢則兩年,但他會盡力滿足陳仁的希望。
視訊妹控逼露奶榨業績
高雄一名曹姓女子(37歲)經營網路色情聊天室,因聊天室的成人視訊妹不露臉,以敢脫敢玩打響名號。但後來卻有成人視訊妹向警方舉報遭曹女苛扣薪水,且被逼露奶才有業績獎金,警方直搗聊天室,以違反《人口販運防制法》等罪移送曹及旗下員工共17人,但檢方認為無證據證明視訊妹被逼露奶,且僱主要求員工達到業績也未違法,處分不起訴。
警方移送指出,曹女在網路徵行政助理,打出無經驗可,女子應徵後才知道其實是色情視訊交友網站,曹女要求員工要陪男客聊天可領薪,後來又說要脫衣、露點才能領更多業績獎金,並監看女員工有無照做,有些涉世未深的年輕美眉想說不露臉無妨,為了賺錢只好聽命,敢脫敢玩,穿著性感內衣,以情趣用品愛撫私處助興,讓男客掏錢紛紛掏錢看妹露點。警方破獲網站辦公室時,還查扣多套性感內衣和跳蛋。
不過檢方調查認為,警方未側錄到任何視訊交友露點畫面,且部分被逮的視訊妹到庭都說沒有露點等行為,雖扣到情趣內衣或用品也不代表有公然猥褻的行為,因此妨害風化部分不起訴。
至於人口販運部分,檢方指《人口販運防制法》第32條規定被告須意圖營利,以強暴、脅迫、恐嚇等方法,使人從事勞動與報酬顯不相當的工作者才觸法,而曹女旗下的視訊妹第一個月都有保障底薪22000元,還外加全勤獎金3000元,第2個月起才取消保障底薪,改採業績制,每個小姐可以領27%的點數錢。檢方認為如房仲、保險業等從業人員有些也無底薪,以業績獎金為薪水,員工若不滿薪資結構可另謀出路,又無其他證據證明曹女壓迫員工脫衣露奶才有錢領,因此將全案不起訴。

日本偶像團體AKB48出道多年人氣仍紅不讓,其冠名節目《AKB大調查》之前曾舉辦美胸、美腿等選舉,成員在節目上大膽互摸襲胸,引起話題,這次又舉辦美唇選舉,卻讓網友覺得畫面有點色色的,「好像在拍A片。」

1. Search Results Will Be Different Depending on the Device Being Utilized.
Google is already showing mobile-friendly results and they will eventually turn it into a ranking factor in their results. With mobile traffic overtaking the desktop, they have no choice but to cater their results for mobile users. Once the majority of websites are mobile-friendly, Google will look toward refining the results even further. One of those ways will be to show different results depending on the device being utilized.
Mobile devices come in all types of shapes and sizes. Responsive design should allow a similar experience on different devices. Google is likely learning already that user behavior in their search results can be different depending on the variations of device types. The slightest improvement to usability can have major impacts when you’re dealing with billions of queries. Google will find ways to improve user experience at every turn and mobile devices seems like the next logical step.
2. Google and Facebook Will Battle for Dominance in Cross-Device Tracking.
Cross-device tracking is a pain point with many channels and analytics tools. There isn’t an effective way of knowing if a user that visited your website from a mobile phone is the same user that visited from a desktop computer. There are ways to tie the data together such as having user accounts on your website, but that isn’t a realistic option for many websites.
Google has been touting its ability to provide cross-device tracking with their tremendous reach with Gmail, YouTube, and Chrome. Facebook also has tremendous reach with desktop and mobile users logged into its services. Google and Facebook will eventually realize the importance of achieving close to 100 percent cross-device tracking for their advertising aspirations. This competition will spur acquisitions and major initiatives that will close the gap and end the challenges we now experience with cross-device tracking.
3. Increased Use of Advanced Attribution Will Make SEO More Valuable.
Attribution modeling is becoming increasingly popular and the vendors that provide these services are making their tools more advanced every day. What this will eventually lead to is a major advantage for companies that utilize advanced attribution and its use will exponentially grow.
How does this make SEO more valuable? When you start utilizing attribution tools, you start to see all the assistance channels have in the middle of the attribution model. The middle or assisting channels are very important to the decision of the user. Organic search plays a huge part in answering the questions people have when they are trying to decide on a product or service. If the user didn’t start on organic search or end on organic search, SEO doesn’t get any credit. Clearly, SEO plays a huge part and marketing tactics will shift to provide supporting content to assist users and improve the conversion rates of all channels.
4. Usability Testing for Responsive Websites Will Be Required.
Mobile traffic is becoming very important and companies are quickly redesigning websites with responsive design. In this rush to satisfy mobile users, companies are failing to realize that responsive design isn’t flawless.
Through analytics, companies will begin to see that mobile engagement may not be increasing as much as they thought. End-user Demand Spurs Global SMT Screen printer and Glue Dispensers Market

"As miniaturization becomes more popular, companies struggle to accurately place small components on miniaturized electronics boards," said Frost & Sullivan Measurement and Instrumentation Research Analyst Viswam Sathiyanarayanan. "This fuels demand for SMT screen printers and dispensers."
Even as demand grows, price sensitivity in the SMT Screen printer market may affect revenues. Facing intense competition from Asian vendors, established manufacturers must reduce prices in order to break even. Some tier III companies in North America and Europe have shut down or merged with tier I companies due to their inability to handle high manufacturing costs.
Further, customers prefer jet printers over screen printers for complex printing applications. If production speeds increase and machine costs decrease, jet printing will disrupt the Screen printer market.

林哲倫表示,他直覺認為王男本性不壞,是因為經濟壓力鋌而走險。開庭時王男有表達悔意,當庭向被害人道歉。雖然犯錯應該接受法律制裁,但得知王男是因為幼子生病、妻子身心障礙沒謀生能力,讓同樣為人父的他於心不忍。
對素昧平生的律師事務所幫忙付和解金,王男很感動。林哲倫告訴王,錢不必還,只要出獄後好好做人,用正當方法賺錢養家,別再走回頭路就好。
王姓男子去年七月廿七日晚闖進新竹市一家旅社,持刀抵住櫃台人員腰部恐嚇交出財物,從被害人手中取走一萬七千餘元後逃回彰化。因王男住過這家旅館,被害人認出他身分,警方鎖定王涉有重嫌。
三天後,王男又在彰化縣一家旅館犯案,持電擊棒對櫃檯人員說「我要搶錢」,搶走兩千三百元,被害人呼救,民眾和警方合力將王逮捕。
王男在彰化犯的強盜案被判八年。新竹的強盜案去年底開庭審理,法院指派法扶律師林哲倫幫王辯護。王在庭訊時供稱,幼子罹患腦水腫,缺錢買奶粉,加上妻子輕度智能障礙,經濟困窘。被害人同情王的遭遇,願以三萬元民事和解,但王男付不出來。
為讓王男可獲較有利刑度,到庭公訴的新竹地檢署檢察官許大偉原和林哲倫討論一起分擔三萬元和解金,但林哲倫說,法扶基金會有給他三萬元酬金,就把這筆錢當作公益,「希望能改變一個人、一個家庭,非常值得」。

視訊交友「桃色陷阱」 鎖定名人「肥羊」下手
台北市議員陳彥伯自爆遭抹黃恐嚇勒索,其實名人因為擁有一定的知名度,在詐騙集團眼中,就如同肥羊一樣,像是藝人小豬羅志祥,趙正平就曾經在網路交友,結果被人拍下半裸上身和辣妹視訊交友,爆料給媒體,跆拳道金牌國手朱木炎,也因為在網路上交朋友,結果身分被對方知道後,反過來遭到勒索。
打開網路五花八門的虛擬世界,任你遨遊,不過小心陷阱就藏在網路裡,民國99年,藝人小豬羅志祥在網路上成人視訊,反被對方爆料半裸上身視訊,還公開兩人的曖昧簡訊,逼得小豬不得不在節目上做出回應,藝人羅志祥:「我承認在網路上面對她有一點點好感,經過這次事情之後,其實我蠻難過的,我覺得我是真的很誠心誠意交朋友。」單純交朋友卻被對方反咬一口,讓羅志祥當時的形象飽受打擊,無獨有偶,藝人玩成人視訊被偷拍的還有趙正平,就在小豬的視訊羅生門事件不久,趙正平也疑似遭到對岸女網友設計,把兩人聊天時截圖寄給媒體,當時趙正平上身半裸,女子則是黑色洋裝小露事業線,看起來相當曖昧,趙正平當時說,用視訊和大陸網友聊天是常有的事,當天因為天氣熱才會打赤膊,否認有桃色糾紛。
民國94年,跆拳道國手朱木炎,也被辣妹用視訊勒索,當時對方挑明就是要錢,金牌國手深陷溫柔鄉,引起軒然大波,警方說名人在詐騙集團眼中就像肥羊一樣,視訊辣妹會先用溫言軟語吹捧,接著再用曖昧字句挑逗,引人上當,一旦透過視訊傳送影音就很容易存檔,也讓這些名人被抓到把柄,只能說樹大招風,名人的一舉一動還是小心為上。
人妻為什麼拍A片
現在A片世界,「人妻」或是「熟女」蔚為一大領域,不僅是前AV女優婚後還復出拍片,也有更多是素人人妻出道拍A片,到底是什麼原因呢?

片酬不多為了解飢
但普通人妻呢?現在越來越多人妻投入A片業界,許多是普通主婦,也有些是出身不錯的老舖旅館女將或藝術大學畢業的音樂老師等,到底為何想拍A片呢?女將等多少是想靠特殊性一炮而紅成為大牌AV女優,乃至女優,普通人妻狀況不同,因為除了大牌女優還能一片收到1、200萬日圓片酬外,普通女優就跟AV男優一樣,只有3到5萬日圓而已,只是零用錢程度,不少人妻還為了拍A片而去整形,完全是賠本生意。
那到底位什麼拍A片呢?說穿了就是許多人妻因為家裡無性,丈夫不把自己當女人看,對性愛飢渴,很想跟AV男優上床,而被當作女人來伺候,這點基本理由跟不倫人妻是共通的,而選擇拍A片的人妻自認較笨拙,無法徹底偽裝,擔心搞外遇會穿幫,導致家庭崩潰,覺得拍A片有影片公司等庇護,加上化妝等,被認出的穿幫風險還比較低,因此很意外的是拍A片的人妻,沒有不倫等偷吃經驗的居壓倒性多數;也有人妻昧於「AV女優」頭銜,覺得比「不倫人妻」或「援交人妻」好,而打開A片世界的門。
報告稱蘋果App Store商店中殭屍應用占總數83%
應用分析公司Adjust周一公佈最新報告稱,應用經濟並未顯示出放緩的跡象,蘋果公司的iOS App Store應用商店也正在繼續增長,其應用總數現已超過1.42億個。
報告指出,在2014年中,蘋果公司App Store應用商店中的“殭屍應用”數量增長了近一倍,從1月的657778個增加至12月的1136501個。在此期間,這個應用商店中的應用總數增長了54.3%,從889231個增加至1372371個。在去年3月,App Store應用商店的應用總數首次突破100萬大關,而殭屍應用在在同年9月達到了這個數字。
Adjust還指出,在有些類別的應用中,新近應用更難與成功應用相抗衡。舉例來,從全球範圍來看,“商務”類應用目前都被少數的成功應用佔據主導地位,而新近應用能上榜的可能性很小,這些應用最好是選擇一些競爭程度較低的應用類別來對自己進行分類,例如“生力”或“財經”類別等。
與此同時,在“導航”和“體育”等應用類別中,“殭屍應用”的比例則要低得多,原因是這些類別的應用經常都面向特定的地理位置,因此只需與較少的本地應用展開競爭。
應用類別的規模和“殭屍應用”的比例之間存在正相關性。舉例來,由於App Store應用商店中規模最小的應用類別是“天氣”應用,因此半數天氣類應用都可進入榜單。但是,一旦一個應用類別的應用總數達到25萬個左右,那麼“殭屍應用”比例就會迅速上升。舉例來,“遊戲”類別的“殭屍應用”比例高達80%以上。
國際市場
在國際市場上,“殭屍應用”也面臨自己的挑戰。在今天,德國和中國App Store應用商店中的“殭屍應用”比例分別已達80.6%和81.3%,高於日本和俄羅斯(分別為77.6%和73.2%)。
有些時候,由於想要進入本國應用商店排行榜的應用數量較少,會令應用商店從中受益;而在其他一些時候,成功應用被翻譯為該國語言,隨后在進入其國內市場時進入排名,這也對“殭屍應用”的比例造成了影響。
“殭屍應用”比例的同比增長凸顯了一件事情,那就是對今天的應用開發商來,理解和利用ASO(應用商店優化)技術有多麼重要。ASO技術類似於搜索領域中的“SEO”(搜索引擎優化)技術,但前者關注的重點是如何在應用商店的搜索結果頁面上獲得較高排名。
另外,對應用開發商來,這個指標對其謹慎挑選應用類別也是很有用的。由於應用可被分類為不同的類別,因此蘋果公司允許開發商選擇最多三個類別。如果開發商選擇那些競爭程度較低的市場,那麼無疑就可獲得很大優勢,有助於其開發的應用脫離“殭屍應用”的行列。
